Over the past 24 hours, rumors have begun to circulate that WWE could be officially going away from the individual Pay Per View events for RAW and Smackdown Live. Backlash is already confirmed to be a dual-branded event.
A new rumor has surfaced about a potential 2018 WWE draft.
Wrestlezone is reporting that WWE is internally discussing doing a draft at Backlash.
They say that it would be used as a way for WWE to jumpstart the dual-branded Pay Per View format moving forward. As noted prior, the current rumor is that all WWE Pay Per View events will feature stars from RAW and Smackdown Live after Wrestlemania 34.

Take rumors with a grain of salt as always but would make sense as a way to shake things up. WWE did a draft back in 2016 to kick off the brand split. Last year they did a ‘Superstar Shake-up’ to change over some of the rosters.
We will let you know if we hear anything more.
Discussion: Would you rather a full draft or ‘Superstar Shake-Up’?
