On the post-Takeover conference call, Triple H made some interesting comments about Charlotte Flair’s future.
Triple H teased that there are some long-term plans in store for Charlotte in NXT. That is why she wasn’t pinned by Io Shirai in the NXT Women’s Title match at Takeover: In Your House.
My Take:
- My guess is that we are heading towards Io Shirai vs Charlotte Flair at the next Takeover special. Io will beat Charlotte clean to retain the Title, which will be a big boost for Io.
2) WWE Executives Still Interested In Match For Bobby Lashley
According to journalist Tom Colohue, there are still some WWE executives who want to see Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar happen.
Here is what Colohue said about the match:
I do know that there is a desperate need among some parts of the executive level in the WWE to get the Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar match coming. And as I have reported here previously, Brock Lesnar has been pencilled in for an appearance around SummerSlam, which means it is certainly possible that we are going to get that match.
My Take:
- Lashley vs Lesnar would be a strong match for Summerslam. As long as the WWE Title isn’t involved, I am happy with it. I just don’t want Brock as the Champion again anytime soon.
