Kevin Owens Potentially Injured During Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Kevin Owens was unsuccessful in his claim to win the Money in the Bank contract. The ladder match was won instead by Baron Corbin, who earned himself a guaranteed WWE Championship opportunity, whenever he wants it.

Kevin Owens took several big bumps during the ladder match. This included a suplex onto the apron by Sami Zayn and getting tossed onto a ladder on the outside by AJ Styles.

Potential Injury

On Wrestling Observer Radio after the event, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted that Kevin Owens was helped to the back after the match with an apparent leg injury. Meltzer wasn’t able to hear back from his sources when he reached out about the injury. Fans in attendance noted that Owens had to be helped to the back when the cameras were off.

Make sure to take this with a grain of salt. We will have to wait and see. Wouldn’t be surprised as Owens took some major bumps on Sunday night.
