WWE Rumor On AJ Styles And The “Superstar Shake-Up”

The WWE brand split has been a great success for the WWE so far. Ratings for Smackdown Live have increased and WWE has two solid shows that they are producing on a weekly basis. The split rosters have given more talent the opportunity to shine and take on bigger roles.

One of the talents that has really had the opportunity to shine is AJ Styles. He has had one of the greatest first-years in WWE history. After the draft, Styles defeated John Cena several times and also had a very successful run as WWE Champion. This all came before spending a full year with the company.

There has been some talk for the past few months about Vince McMahon taking a big liking to AJ Styles. Rumors are that Vince has been very impressed by AJ since the WWE Draft and wants him as a focal point of the RAW brand moving forward.

Styles has exceeded all expectations in regards to his live event reactions and his merchandise numbers since joining the company. It is undeniable that he is now considered one of the top stars in the entire company.

Smackdown is an important show (ratings wise) to WWE but there is no denying that RAW is still the main focus for the company. Expect AJ Styles to be on RAW after the ‘Superstar Shake Up” happens.

  1. WWE does nothing logical. a draft is indicative of new talent, not established talent. perhaps a ‘free agency’ type of angle, but drafting established stars is not what any pro sports team does.

for fuc# sake… do I have to make sense of everything for WWE?

        • No, I’m just saying they’re not required to do it the way you think they should. Besides, logic has nothing to do with it. They’re in business to make money, not sense.

          • while making sense and making money are not mutually exclusive.. it doesn’t make sense to not try and be logical w/ the booking. I never suggested that WWE do it “my way” … only that they make sense.

you can still make money and remain logical in the booking. to do it any other way is lazy and an insult to the business and the fans.

  2. Why another DRAFT so soon, I think that is BAD for business… And even though I am not a big AJ fan myself, he is doing good right now, but if they send him to RAW he will turn into a joke just like everyone else over there is..

  3. it’s not a draft, it’s gonna be trades from SD to Raw and Vice Versa along with a few NXT call-ups i’m sure like Nakamura, Tye Dillenger, etc..
