1) Making The Entire Men’s Royal Rumble Match About Brock Lesnar
I am definitely intrigued to see what happens with Brock Lesnar entering the Royal Rumble match at #1. What I don’t want to see though is WWE making the entire men’s Royal Rumble match about Brock.
What I mean by that is Brock starting at #1 and lasting until the very end of the match. That would mean the entire story of the Rumble would be about if Brock is going to win or not. That would mean a lot of the other talent would take a backseat and would play second fiddle to Brock.
The Rumble match is something that WWE can use to help elevate several members of their roster. Brock is already a massive star and doesn’t need to be elevated. As a result, I think that it would be a mistake to make the entire thing about Lesnar.
WWE can still have Brock survive for half of the match before he gets eliminated. That sets up Brock’s match at Wrestlemania 36. It also means the final half of the match can be about the rest of the roster and focus on who is going to win. I think that it would be a mistake for WWE to focus on getting Brock over in this match. I would rather see other Superstars get a chance to shine.
What are some mistakes that you think WWE should avoid making at the Royal Rumble? Let me know in the comment section below.
