The main event of the night was Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.

It turned out that Chris Jericho had been playing us for the past several weeks!!! There had been tension teased between Owens and Jericho for the past several weeks. It looked like the best friends were no-more.

Jericho ended up hitting Owens with a codebreaker during the main event, giving the win to Roman Reigns by disqualification. This allowed Owens to retain his title:
