Here are 17 things that we learned from RAW this week.
1) Roman Reigns Announced That He Has Leukemia
This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW kicked off Roman Reigns. He came out wearing street clothes and not his usual ring attire. This was certainly not something that fans are used to seeing.
Reigns announced that his leukemia has come back. He has been in remission for the past 11 years but it is back. WOW, what a bombshell.
“I’ve been living with leukemia for 11 years, and unfortunately it’s back…I’m going to have to relinquish the Universal Championship.” – @WWERomanReigns #RAW pic.twitter.com/WnT4qyBUSx

2) Roman Has Relinquished The Universal Championship (But Isn’t Retiring)
Due to his battle with cancer, Roman Reigns has officially relinquished the WWE Universal Championship. He says that he isn’t retiring though, he will be back after he beats cancer.
That was heartbreaking:
DON’T call it a retirement speech.@WWERomanReigns WILL beat this, and we will see him again VERY, VERY SOON! #RAW pic.twitter.com/2XZpkEA5rU

3) A Gut-Wrenching Moment With The Shield
Roman Reigns ended up being joined by Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at the top of the stage. They shared a hug with tears in their eyes.
One of the most emotional moments in WWE history.
