Here is what we learned from the January 13th, 2020 episode of Monday Night RAW.
1) Drew McIntyre Joined The Feud Between Randy Orton And AJ Styles
This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW opened with Randy Orton. He was quickly interrupted by AJ Styles.
After Orton and Styles exchanged some words, they were interrupted by Drew McIntyre. Drew cut a promo and announced that he wanted to fight Styles and Orton. This led to a triple threat match between Styles, Orton, and McIntyre.
2) Drew McIntyre Is Now A Babyface
Another note from the opening segment is that it appears WWE has officially turned Drew McIntyre into a babyface. At the very least, they are in the process of fully turning him.
An interesting decision by WWE but I am excited to see how it goes over the next several weeks.
3) Randy Orton Hit The ‘Styles Clash’
The opening match of the episode was between Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles.
During the match, Orton ended up hitting the ‘Styles Clash’ on AJ. This was payback for Styles hitting an RKO on RAW last week.
