Welcome everyone to MONDAY NIGHT RAW…VIEW. First off thanks to everyone who engaged with myself and @InnerN3rd last night hopefully you guys enjoyed it as well. Tonight we switch gears back to the red brand though and looks like we are set to kick off with the big news from the big dog. Many have speculated everything from I suggested last week with Finn Balor to Bruan Strowman and now supposedly The Undertaker. However before we get into the RawView I tweeted out earlier today I would give my opinion on the controversial finish to last night’s Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Let me start this with I LOVED IT! Not because of troll baiting or wanting to go against the grain but because I felt it was the best story to tell. The common issue I hear with the finish last night was because a man was the first to retrieve the briefcase during the first women’s money in the bank. Much like with Goldberg beating Lesner in under two minutes, the reason to have Ellsworth retrieve the briefcase is BECAUSE it’s the first women’s money in the bank. Everyone wanted to see a woman ascend the ladder and grab the briefcase and for us to forever have that image in our heads however it’s been tainted because I man grabbed the briefcase and gave it to a woman. Ever heard of chivalry? Let me ask this had Maryse grabbed the briefcase for The Miz during the first Money in the Bank ladder match would you be as upset? How about Chyna climbing the ladder for HHH back in the day and handing him the title is that still awful? No but the heat is what it is right now and everyone is talking about the women right now BECAUSE of that finish.
I applaud WWE for that finish, every woman in that match is now being talked about and Carmella and James Ellsworth are the target of heat from most hardcore fans. Kudos WWE! Also I’ve talked with the powers at be in regards to our Great Balls Of Fire giveaway and he will be making an official announcement on Wednesday. Please give me a follow to keep up to date with all updates in regards to this as well as I’ve said once I get to 250 followers I will buy someone a shirt from WWESHOP.com of their favorite superstar and mail it to them. Now as Judge Mills Lane use to say on Celebrity Death Match… “Let’s get it on”
- No video packages to open this Raw we go right into the chorus of ghosts and the entrance of the big dog into his yard.
- Roman Reigns is in full smug mode tonight.
- Samoa Joe comes out to go toe to toe with the big dog and he’s unhappy that Reigns has a bad memory in regards to his name.
- This is three weeks in a row that Samoa Joe has brought his A game and I have to believe people in the back are noticing this.
- Here comes intense Samoa Joe and he decides to beat the ever loving hell out of Roman Reigns. There is a guy row one wearing overalls who I swear just did a pig call.
- This ends with Roman laying out Samoa Joe with a superman punch, which I still find to be a pretty awesome move.
- We see the Non-Broken version of the Hardy’s backstage walking slowly.
- Well there we have it Samoa Joe against Roman Reigns…. Think that ends cleanly?
- The Hardy’s will now take on the entire Good Brothers Club in a match that should probably have a great build and should be happening on PPV.
- The Club would have been so much better off going to SDL during the roster shakeup. I understand why they didn’t but they could be doing great things over there.
- I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again when the Hardy’s do split I fully expect Jeff Hardy to be the bigger star and Matt to never be as big as Jeff is broken or not.
- Goldust Retro is up next to cut another promo I really hope this turns into a good final push for him.
- Drifters gonna drift.
- Finn Balor makes his return? I guess and I will say this about the guy whatever IT is Finn Balor has IT.
- Bo Wyatt is out now to take on James Dean version of Finn Balor. Two of the greatest NXT champions of all time… I’ll let that sink in.
- Finn Balor defeats Bo Wyatt in a nice little match. I have to wonder if they are just binding time until Samoa Joe is done with Lesner.
- This trailer for WWE 2k18 is bad ass. Sorry for the language no other way to say it.
- Seth Rollins is out next I guess to formally announce to the crowd what they already know… I wonder if anyone will cut the lights out and put up weird images on the titantron.
- Enzo, Cass, Angle and Graves walk into a backstage area and Kurt Angle promises to bring in Scooby Doo Mystery Inc and get to the bottom of the mystery by end of night.
- Seth Rollins deems himself a cool dude because he’s on the cover of WWE 2k18.
- I KNEW IT! Bray Wyatt interrupts and cuts another really good paint by numbers promo and gets us excited even more about this feud.
- I just LOL’d at the graphic that Kurt Angle is going to crack the case I just think of him wearing an old school detective hat and a large magnifying glass walking around backstage.
- Charley Carruso is backstage interviewing Finn Balor and she must’ve seen @Brittanylj22 question to me and Brittany you just got your answer… Its Elias Sampson.
- Cruiserweights are up next you know what that means.
- Tozawa is out next without Titus O’Neil and that makes me sad and he’s up against 8bit WWE 2k18 create a wrestler.
- YES! Titus is out to talk about the brand and does his best Lavar Ball impression this gimmick for him is amazing.
- The Titus Brand in conjunction with 205Live this is great please let me have more of this every week. Let him build a lower mid card stable and see if he can elevate these guys.
- Out comes cruiserweight Lesner to kill everyone apparently. Nope he’s coming to sit next to booker T and grace us with his English accent.
- Titus O’Neil is going to promote Tozawa vs. Neville for the title for the next few weeks isn’t he? Sign me up.
- The Titus Brand picks up a big victory tonight on Raw.
- THE POWA OF TOZAWA!
- Curtis Axel is backstage helping Bo Dallas feel better about himself and now The Miz is back to recruit them for Team Miz.
- Didn’t they say Roman vs. Samoa Joe would be the main event? I guess WWE is pretending this is a two hour raw.
- These two guys are really beating the hell out of each other and I’m digging this trash talking Reigns during the match.
- I AIN’T THROUGH WITH YOU YET! BRRRRRRRRAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNN! What a pop for Braun Strowman.
- Reigns is about to have a bad night because Joe is going to choke him out and then Braun is going to find his body.
- So at Great Balls of Fire are we really going to get Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesner?
- We now have Miz TV with a giant box and two bears in the ring and I suppose this will be an apology gone wrong.
- I’m going to repeat something that I’ve said before under no circumstance should they go through with a breakup angle with Miz and Maryse.
- The Miz is a clocksmith at night apparently as he made the clock perfect just like they are and it’s timeless just like they are.
- Miz has an entourage now. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel now are the co-stars in the next film starring the Miz.
- The Miz leading a faction with guys like Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel could lead to him taking a big step on this loaded Raw roster.
- Deputy Kurt Angle is interrogating The Big Show backstage and Big Show slowly strokes his beard.
- Da Bar is out to take on The Titus Brand version 1 with Titus O’Neil manager/agent/owner teaming with client Apollo Crews.
- Can the Titus Brand go 2-0 tonight on Raw?
- The Tag Champions pick-up the pinfall on Apollo Crews in a quick match to establish that they are at the top of the division.
- Hey what do you know a REALLY good video package to promote a match at a PPV. This Is something that nobody does better than them.
- Out comes my personal favorite woman in either women’s division Sasha Banks!
- If you read my tweets last night I do believe Charlotte will go down as the greatest of all time however I believe Sasha will be right there with her and her gimmick is awesome.
- Her opponent tonight is Nia Jax and right behind her is Alexa Bliss to do commentary during this match.
- While this Raw hasn’t been bad at all I’m a little confused about the layout of Raw. You have Joe and Roman in the ten o’clock spot with a big return and cramming the women and angle in at the end.
- If it were me I would have announced the Angle decision at the ten o’clock time slot and let Strowman close the show standing tall.
- Emma and Alexa get into a foot race and that upsets Nia because apparently the finish line is in the middle of her match. Emma kicks Nia and Nia wins upsetting Sasha and now Emma and Alex attack Sasha which send out Dana and Mickie which upsets Nia.
- Huggers UNITE! Bayley comes in beating up everyone who isn’t named Mickie, Sasha or Dana until Nia picks her up and throws her into the corner. Faces stand tall.
- For everyone who said the WWE buried Bayley and her character is dead got one hell of a response from the crowd from someone who nobody should care about.
- Out comes that sucky gold medalist who won with a broken freakin’ neck.
- There is a possibility this is the last time we see Enzo/Cass come out to this theme together and it’s in the main event segment with Kurt Angle. Let’s see how this plays out.
- Oh goodness we are getting full Law and Order: WWE as Angle brings out suspects first out The Revival. Next is The Big Show. I wonder if the 1994 Denver Broncos are backstage.
- The Big Show upset that Angle asked him about his whereabouts and The Big Show walked out?
- The Revival has been exonerated and Graves speaks up and says he can help and discredits Big Cass.
- It was Big Cass… It was Big Cass ALL ALONG!
- Cass cutting a pretty good promo and Enzo is showing some great emotion I think he even just shed a tear.
- Raw goes off the air with a Big Boot from Cass to enzo and Cass standing tall on the ramp as Angle tends to Enzo.

I’m not sure about you however I did enjoy this week’s Raw. Yet another week proving why Raw is the supreme brand of the two. I will say they need to work on the writing and the implementation of the women’s division. As far as what went right thought not only are we getting a great Universal Title feud, a really good mid card title feud but we are getting other storylines outside of titles. The Titus Brand, Rollins/Wyatt, Enzo/cass, Graves/Angle, Goldust/RTruth, and a returning Braun Strowman and Finn Balor injected directly into feuds. The momentum of Raw is headed up and in time for the second biggest event of the year. Sit back and enjoy folks they are putting in effort and time into the shows. Again lookout for the big announcement from @InnerN3rd and shoot me a follow to see my RawView: Tuesday Night Edition and the Re-Writing the Book that will be coming out this week. Until next time… be awesome.
