As reported prior, the WWE is interested in purchasing the tape library of TNA. Jim Ross recently spoke on his podcast that a deal was imminent for the TNA tape library to be sold to the WWE. We now have another potential update on the situation.
***Note: This is only a rumor. We can’t confirm the claims 100% but wanted to pass it on to our readers. We still need to wait for anything official.
Justin LaBar claims that the deal is done. WWE is getting the tape library and Billy Corgan is purchasing the rest of the company and re-branding it. LaBar is hit or miss with his scoops so it needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
Just got a text saying #WWE to buy TNA video library & Billy Corgan is going to be new majority owner of TNA that he’ll likely rebrand. Wow!

Dave Meltzer couldn’t confirm or deny the report:
Have talked about both for a week plus, can’t confirm either as finalized but both have been heavily in play. https://t.co/c0Ab3wxOhz
