The second match of the night was between KUSHIDA and Velveteen Dream. This was the NXT Takeover debut for KUSHIDA.
This turned out to be a strong Takeover debut for KUSHIDA. I hope that he gets pushed up the card moving forward because he is super talented.

The match was eventually won by KUSHIDA. This came via submission.

6) KUSHIDA Kept The Attack Going On Velveteen Dream After The Match
After the match was over, KUSHIDA kept the attack going on Velveteen Dream. This included putting Dream in more submission holds.
It looks like that may have been WWE’s way to write Dream off television.
