3) Adam Cole Will Retain The NXT Championship After Some Help From The Undisputed Era
WWE has confirmed an NXT Championship match for the episode. It will be Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle. This comes after Riddle defeated Killian Dain to become the number one contender for the NXT Championship.
This should be a good match. The story will be that Riddle won’t be at 100% after his grueling street fight against Dain.
My guess is that Cole is going to retain the Title after the Undisputed Era provide the distraction. Riddle will be protected in the loss and this keeps their feud going for the next several weeks.
2) The Undisputed Era Will Attack Matt Riddle After The Match
After the match, I see Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly beating down Matt Riddle.
The goal here is to generate some sympathy for Riddle. If he is going to be in a long-term feud with Cole, he is likely going to be pushed heavily as a babyface.
As a result, I see the Undisputed Era teaming up to attack Riddle after the match.
