As noted prior, AJ Styles looked to be injured at the end of the WWE TLC PPV. Styles retained his WWE World Championship in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match against Dean Ambrose. He was able to keep his title after James Ellsworth turned on Ambrose.
Fans in attendance saw Styles get treated for an injury after the show went off the air. It was reported that Styles looked to have hurt his right ankle during the match. He was checked up on by WWE doctors and was walking with a noticeable limp as he was helped to the back.
F4WOnline.com confirms that Styles did suffer an injury at TLC. They report that he has a minor ankle injury and he was attended to after the match by WWE doctors.
Styles is scheduled to face James Ellsworth on this weeks episode of Smackdown Live for the WWE World Championship. It is unclear how much Styles will be able to do in the ring or if the match will get scrapped.

The good news is that injury is marked as minor. If I had to guess he sprained it at some point during the match. Hopefully he is able to get some rest on the ankle so it doesn’t get any worse or it becomes a nagging problem for him over the next few months.
Guess we will have to wait and see on this weeks episode of Smackdown Live!
