You might remember on the January 30th episode of RAW, Braun Strowman came to the ring and interrupted Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. After Strowman took out Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, he demanded a “Title Shot” from Kevin Owens for his WWE Universal belt.
It appears as if Vince McMahon was NOT happy with Strowman referring to it as a “Title Shot” instead of a “Title Match”. Mick Foley told the story on his appearance on the Lilian Garcia: Making Their Way To The Ring podcast.
Here is what he said:
“I was about to go out there a couple weeks ago, and I heard Braun Strowman say, I want a title shot. Mr. McMahon’s behind the curtain, at the board watching the monitor, and he goes, oh god, it’s not a title shot. I was thinking to myself, then what is it? That’s exactly what I would go to call it when I would go out there. You want a title shot? He’s like, it’s a title match. It’s a match! So if you ever wonder what it’s like to see a six-foot-eight, three hundred pound behemoth get chewed out, you should’ve been there”

The imagine of Vince screaming in the face of Strowman is incredible to imagine. Something so small like that lets you know how much of a perfectionist that Vince McMahon really is.
You can watch the segment here in case you missed it: (Note; the video’s title refers to it as a ‘Title Opportunity”
