Ranking The Chances Of Every Competitor In The Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match

5) Baron Corbin

— Likelihood Of Him Winning: 6/10

I want to start off by saying that I do not want to see Baron Corbin win the Money in the Bank briefcase. He had a chance a few years ago and I would rather it go to someone new. While saying that, I still think Corbin has a chance to win.

WWE likes to troll fans and I could definitely see them having Corbin win the briefcase again. They are clearly very high on him as a heel and it wouldn’t be a major surprise to see him win this match.

Corbin also has a pinfall victory over Seth Rollins as of late, which has me thinking that a feud could be coming soon between them. A cash-in would certainly start that feud off with a bang.

I don’t want it to happen but I could see Corbin winning on Sunday.

4) Randy Orton

— Likelihood Of Him Winning: 6.5/10

I think that Randy Orton has a pretty solid chance to win the Money in the Bank briefcase. There are a few reasons why I think Orton has a chance, even though he has won the briefcase in the past.

I think that WWE is going to have a heel win the Title off Kofi Kingston at some point over the next few months. That heel will eventually be defeated by Roman Reigns. I don’t think WWE wants Roman taking the belt off Kofi because it could hurt his crowd reactions moving forward. As a result, it makes more sense for Kofi to drop the belt to a heel and Roman beats that heel.

That heel could be Randy Orton. Orton vs Kingston vs Kevin Owens is being advertised for upcoming WWE PPV events. Plus, I could easily see Orton cashing in to take the belt off Kofi. To me, Orton seems like a decent pick this year.

I don’t necessarily want it to happen but I wouldn’t rule Orton out.

3) Sami Zayn

— Likelihood Of Him Winning: 7/10

Now that Sami Zayn is in the Money in the Bank ladder match, I think that he actually has a pretty decent chance to win.

Sami has been cutting some strong heel promos since returning to WWE television. Since he is a heel and someone who has never won the briefcase before, I think that he has a decent shot to win.

Heel Sami Zayn vs Seth Rollins could be a fun feud for the WWE Universal Championship over the next few months. Sami winning the briefcase could set that feud into motion.

I wouldn’t count Sami out on Sunday.
