WWE Money In The Bank 2018 Rumors

3) James Ellsworth Appearing?????

There is a big rumor making the rounds that James Ellsworth could be returning the company and make some sort of an appearance at Money in the Bank. Yes, you read that correctly.

This all started with a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who said that Ellsworth is scheduled to be at Money in the Bank. Ellsworth posted on Twitter that he has a match in China earlier that same day. A few days later, the promotion that Ellsworth was booked for in China says that Ellsworth is no longer booked for their show.

If Ellsworth does appear, the popular speculation is that he will play some sort of role in the match between Carmella and Asuka. We will have to wait and see what happens though.

2) The Women’s Briefcase Winner

The event will feature a Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The participants will be Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Ember Moon, Lana, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Alexa Bliss and Natalya.

While we don’t know who is going to win, there is a rumor floating around about which brand the winner will come from. The @Wrestlevotes account says that the winner will likely be coming from Monday Night RAW.

If that is accurate, either Ember, Alexa, Natalya or Sasha will be walking out as our winner.

1) The Men’s Briefcase Winner

The event will feature a Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The participants will be Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Bobby Roode, Kevin Owens, Rusev, Samoa Joe, the Miz and a member of the New Day.

Similar to what we said above about the Women’s match, we don’t know who will win but there is a rumor floating around about which brand the winner will be coming from. The @Wrestlevotes account says that the Men’s winner will likely be coming from Smackdown this year.

That means Rusev, the Miz, Samoa Joe or a New Day member have the best odds heading into the match.
