WWE Money In The Bank 2018 Rumors

7) How Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass Could End

Daniel Bryan will face off against Big Cass at the Money in the Bank PPV. The rumor floating around right now is that Bryan will lose to set up a third and final match between them to blow off their feud.

Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live thinks that the Miz will get involved. Here is what he said (h/t to Ringside News):

“Bryan already won so very rarely do they do these feuds where one guy loses every single match. So I think Miz is interfering and costing Daniel Bryan the match to set up SummerSlam.”

Based on WWE-booking, this does make sense. Bryan will probably lose at Money in the Bank and win at Extreme Rules next month.

6) The Length Of The Show

One of the biggest questions that we have been asked about Money in the Bank is how long the show is going to run for. Here is what we know:

The kickoff show is scheduled for 6:00 PM (EST). The main card will be starting at 7:00 (EST).

On the WWE Network schedule, the blocked off timeslot for the show is from 7:00 PM until 10:30 PM (EST). Logic would indicate that based on that, Money in the Bank will be about a 3 and a half hour show. Since it is on the Network, WWE has the wiggle room needed if they need to go a bit longer. 3 and a half to 4 hours seems like a pretty reasonable estimate.

5) Charlotte’s Future

You may have heard about the rumors of Charlotte Flair needing some surgery to repair a ruptured breast implant. A recent report suggests that this is still the case and she will be getting the surgery done after Money in the Bank.

What that means is that Charlotte will be missing a few weeks of shows as she recovers from the surgery. That might give us a hint that Charlotte won’t be walking out as the Money in the Bank ladder match winner this year.

Not set in stone but seems like they wouldn’t keep the briefcase winner off TV for a few weeks.

4) Title Match Not Confirmed For The Show

There has been a bit of confusion floating around about the upcoming match between the Deleters of Worlds (Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt) and the B Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

This match has NOT been officially confirmed for the Money in the Bank PPV. It is looking like this match will take place on an upcoming episode of RAW or at Extreme Rules next month.

Unless WWE adds it at the last moment, this match isn’t happening in Chicago.
