11) A Possible Heel Turn Looming
Something that is looming as we head into Money in the Bank is the possibility of a heel turn. Current rumors suggest that Bobby Roode could be turning heel in the near future and will revert back to the character that he was using in NXT.
I think many fans would agree that Roode is much better as a heel. It does seem like WWE will be eventually turning him. The question now is when?
Roode probably won’t win Money in the Bank but I could see him turning heel during the ladder match. A heel turn will certainly be looming as we head into the show. Would freshen Roode up and would open up some new storyline possibilities.
10) Natalya’s Knee And A Potential Cash-In
If you have been paying attention to Natalya on RAW over the past few weeks, you might have caught a mistake. Natalya was clearly selling her left knee in the ring. When she was icing it in the backstage area, the ice was on her right knee.

There are two real options here. The first is that this was just a simple mistake that means nothing. The second is that this was intentionally done by WWE to hint to the audience that Natalya has been faking it. So why would Natalya fake it?
The answer would be to catch Nia Jax or Ronda Rousey off guard when she cashes in the Money in the Bank briefcase. Could be a fun twist.
9) The Styles-Nakamura Feud
Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles will face off in a Last Man Standing match at Money in the Bank. This feud has been going on now since prior to Wrestlemania 34 and they have faced off a few times already.
A rumor is making the rounds that the feud could actually continue after Money in the Bank. This is based on WWE live event advertisements in July that are listing Nakamura vs Styles as the headline match. This has caused some fans to think we will not be getting a conclusive finish to the show.
While this is a rumor making the rounds, I think you should take this one with a grain of salt. The card at these events is always subject to change so we will have to wait and see. Still, if Nakamura does win the Title, this means the feud is extending until at least Extreme Rules next month.
8) Injury Returns Looming
There are a few WWE stars who are close to returning from injury. The first name is Jason Jordan, who has reportedly been cleared to return and has been backstage at the past few episodes of RAW.
Alicia Fox is also reportedly really close to returning from her tailbone injury that she suffered a few months back.
Whether they play some sort of role at Money in the Bank or not remains to be seen. Jordan seems much more likely than Fox but you never know. We will have to wait and see.
