WWE Issues Statement Over Brock Lesnar’s Potential Anti-Doping Violation

As we noted before, Brock Lesnar has been flagged for a potential anti-doping violation by the USADA. The UFC released a statement saying the test was from June 28th 2016. The USADA didn’t get the results back until July 14th. Many questions have been raised about what this means for Brock Lesnar in the WWE and UFC. The WWE released a very brief statement on Lesnar’s potential anti-doping violation.

Here was the WWE’s statement from WWE’s website:

“Brock Lesnar has not performed for WWE since WrestleMania and is not scheduled to return until Sunday, August 21″ (Source; WWE.com).

Just a mess of a situation. We will update you when we know more! This creates a lot of questions for the WWE. Even though the violation happened outside their company, if they don’t suspend him it makes their policy look weak. I think they might have to suspend him. Worth noting that he has only been flagged with a potential violation so we are still waiting on more information!

Will Brock’s win at UFC 200 be overturned? Will he still face Randy Orton at Summerslam?
