WWE Is Reportedly Making A Big Change To RAW

One of the biggest complaints that fans have about Monday Night RAW is that it is too long. The show runs for 3 hours, plus several extra minutes every week of overrun time.

While the show isn’t changing from 3 hours, there is a big change that is reportedly coming to the RAW format.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that Monday Night RAW will no longer have any overrun time. RAW will now always have an ending time of 11:00 PM (EST) sharp. Weekly viewers of RAW know that the show always goes several minutes past 11:00 PM. It looks like that will be changed moving forward. This will be similar to Smackdown Live, which always ends at 10:00 PM and very rarely goes over.

Sapp says that this change will begin as early as next week’s episode of RAW. He also says that this is likely a call from the USA Network.

Overrun time has been a staple of RAW for so many years. This certainly marks a big change to the show moving forward if it sticks long-term.
