4) The New Day Retained The Smackdown Tag Team Championships
Hell in a Cell featured a kickoff show match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. The New Day faced off against Rusev Day. After a lengthy match, Kofi Kingston pinned Aiden English for the victory. As a result, the New Day is still our Smackdown Tag Team Champions.
A not-so-happy Rusev Day:

5) Jeff Hardy’s Ribs Must Hurt
During the opening match, Randy Orton ended up tossing Jeff Hardy rib-first into a ladder. This was one of his first big spots of the match.
I think it is probably safe to say that Jeff’s ribs are hurting right now.

6) Randy Orton Destroyed Jeff Hardy’s Ear (That Was Gross)
During the match, Randy Orton went and found a screwdriver that was hidden under the ring. Orton shoved that screwdriver into Jeff’s ear. That was a stomach-turning moment that left a lot of fans turning their heads.
Great way to show off how sadistic Orton is though:

I think it is safe to say that Jeff’s ear is also pretty sore.
