8) Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton (Confirmed)
– Hell in a Cell
It has been officially confirmed that Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton will be facing off at the Hell in a Cell PPV. This match will be inside of the Hell in a Cell structure. It is pretty crazy to me that Jeff has never been involved in a Hell in a Cell match in his career. You would think that WWE would have put him in this match type based on his willingness to jump off things.
As for the match itself, a safe bet is that Jeff is going to be jumping off the Cell. He has said in previous interviews that one of his career goals before retiring is to compete in one of these matches. He is getting his wish and I am guessing that he has something wild in mind.
I am thinking that Jeff will miss his wild stunt, which will allow for Orton to take advantage and pick up the win.
Winner Prediction: Orton wins.
7) The New Day vs Rusev Day (Confirmed)
– Smackdown Tag Team Championships
It is now official that we are going to see Rusev Day vs the New Day at Hell in a Cell for the Smackdown Tag Team belts. This comes after Rusev Day won the mini-tournament on Smackdown Live over the past several weeks.
As for the match itself, I think that the New Day will be retaining the Titles. It feels Too early for them to drop the belts in my opinion. This seems like a match where we could see the New Day win clean.
Winner Prediction: The New Day retain
6) Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre (Confirmed)
– RAW Tag Team Championships
The RAW Tag Team Championship match has been confirmed for Hell in a Cell. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre will defend their belts against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
I think that this match makes a lot of sense. Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns will be happening inside of Hell in a Cell, so this will be a way to keep these four busy at the event.
My guess is that we see some sort of non-finish, where Dolph and Drew end up keeping the belts. I would be pretty surprised to see this one end cleanly. My gut says WWE is building towards maybe a ‘winner takes all’ type of scenario between the two factions but that won’t be until Survivor Series.
Winner Prediction: Dolph and Drew will keep the belts after a non-finish.
