The 2018 edition of Hell in a Cell will take place on September 16th in San Antonio. This will be the next PPV event after Summerslam. It will also be taking place just a few weeks before the Super Show-Down PPV event in Australia. Here are some of our early WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 predictions for what the match card will end up looking like and who will win.
WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 Predictions
11) Andrade Almas vs R-Truth
– Kickoff Show Match
Both R-Truth and Andrade Almas have been getting a lot of TV time over the past few weeks on Smackdown Live. My guess is that they could both end up on the card at Hell in a Cell.
After Almas won by rolling up the tights of Truth on Smackdown, a rematch seems logical. My guess is that this will be one of the kickoff show matches.
If it does happen, I predict that Almas will win.
Winner Prediction: Almas wins.
10) Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs Heath Slater And Rhyno
– Kickoff Show Match
Another kickoff show match that I think could happen is Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs Heath Slater and Rhyno. There has been no storyline build between these two teams but it seems like something that WWE could throw together at the last second.
The goal here is to give Roode and Gable another win. It is clear that WWE is building them up and this would be another win before they start taking on some of the bigger teams on the roster.
Winner Prediction: Roode and Gable win.
9) Shinsuke Nakamura Hosts An Open Challenge
– WWE United States Championship
I have zero clues about who will be the next challenger for Shinsuke Nakamura and his United States Championship. WWE has provided no hints on the past three episodes of Smackdown Live. It is clear that WWE doesn’t have a feud for him right now.
The only guess that I have is that we see Nakamura host an open challenge at Hell in a Cell. Smackdown could use some more babyfaces, so this could be a great place to debut someone from NXT.
Either that or Nakamura is off the card completely.
Winner Prediction: Nakamura retains against whoever he faces.
