Wrestlemania 35 weekend will be taking place in the New York/ New Jersey area. MetLife Stadium will host the actual Wrestlemania event. The Barclays Center will host the Hall of Fame ceremony and NXT Takeover.
WWE has made a big change to the schedule on Wrestlemania 35 weekend.
NXT Takeover and the Hall of Fame ceremony will be switching days!
NXT Takeover will now take place on Friday, April 5th. The Hall of Fame ceremony will now take place on Saturday, April 6th. This change was confirmed to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com:
WWE just issued me a statement saying:
“WWE will be going back to its previous WrestleMania Week schedule with NXT TakeOver on Friday, April 5 and the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, April 6. We believe this better serves our fans.”— Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com (@SeanRossSapp) December 1, 2018
That means Takeover will no longer be going head-to-head against the Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling Supercard show that will be taking place on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.
