It appears as if WWE could be planning something fun in the future. This is according to a new trademark that they recently applied for.
On January 3rd, the company applied for the trademark, ‘Worlds Collide’.
Here is what the application is for:
“Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network”
‘Live wrestling events’ is the interesting part here. This could mean WWE is planning an upcoming ‘Worlds Collide’ special or PPV.
My Take: How great would it be if WWE decided to work with another promotion? That probably won’t happen but it is fun to think about. My early guess is a future NXT vs NXT UK special. Maybe even WWE main roster vs NXT. We will have to wait and see but something to potentially get excited for.
