I recently polled my followers on Twitter if they thought WWE RAW should be 2 or 3 hours weekly. Sometimes it feels like 3 hours is just simply too long for a show these days especially when attention spans today are so low. If RAW is mediocre, it becomes easy to switch to something else with all the other media available. 2 hours though, might not be enough time to advance storylines every week so it leaves the WWE in a bit of a pickles.
2 hours won by a significant margin in my poll to my followers as you can see below:
How Long Should #RAW be weekly??

Some people elaborated on their vote:
@InnerN3rd It should go back to 2, even then they still struggled to fill it with quality content. It also made the PPV’s more special imo.

@InnerN3rd 3 hours is better than 2 hours cuz a 2 hour raw started at 9:00 and a 3 hour raw starts at 8:00

@InnerN3rd I think 2.5 hours is just fine because 2 is to less and 3 is to much

@InnerN3rd Raw should be two hours with legit seasons like other TV shows

@InnerN3rd 3 hours is fun, 2 hours sucks. What they need is a makeover in storylines or just bring up the creative guys in NXT.

It’s a tough call to make for the WWE. They will likely stay at 3 hours because of the advertising dollars they bring in from the longer shows. The only way I can see them going to 2 hours would be if there was some sort of Brand Split that made RAW and Smackdown must watch each week. If not, the WWE needs to improve their writing and make the 3 hour show watchable from start to finish!
