2) The Plans For The ‘Wyatt Swamp Fight’
WWE has officially confirmed that Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman will be facing off at WWE Exteme Rules. This will be a non-title match that is being billed as a ‘Wyatt Swamp Fight’
According to a report from Wrestling INC, this will be a cinematic match that has various aspects of storytelling. Bray Wyatt is said to be heavily involved in the creation of the match:
Wrestling Inc. has learned that the plan is to have various spots and storytelling telling of their past to the present. They want to go back to what made the Boneyard match special “but in a Bray Wyatt kind of way.” Wyatt is said to be heavily involved in creating this match along with Jeremy Borash. Triple H will be involved as well when it comes time to film along with a few others. They are trying to keep this shoot close to the vest.
The site also says that this will be more action-packed than what we saw in the ‘Firefly Funhouse’ match at Wrestlemania 36:
One source noted to me that this will be a cross between a Terminator and a horror movie, noting Bray’s ability to always revive himself. The plan is for the match to be more action packed than Wyatt’s “Firefly Funhouse” match against John Cena at WrestleMania this past April.
My Take:
- I am excited for this match. I trust Bray Wyatt to give us something special. He has such a creative mind and I am sure they will knock it out of the park.
1) The Plans For The Feud Between Bray Wyatt And Braun Strowman
According to a report from Wrestling INC, Bray Wyatt will be winning the ‘Wyatt Swamp Fight’ against Braun Strowman. Wyatt winning will set up a third match between them at Summerslam.
At Summerslam, the WWE Universal Championship and The Fiend will be involved. Here is what the site wrote about the plans for the feud:
WWE is apparently going in with a “Three Faces Of Wyatt” idea in his feud against Strowman. So far Firefly Funhouse Wyatt has lost, Eater of Worlds Wyatt will win since it’s a non-title match making him 1-1 against Strowman.
The third match will be at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship and is scheduled to be The Fiend vs. Strowman in a regular match. The ending of the Swamp fight is what will lead into the final chapter of the story.
My Take:
- I am definitely down for this feud to continue after Extreme Rules. It also makes sense for The Fiend to get involved in their next match, with the Universal Title on the line.
