6) Finn Balor vs Shinsuke Nakamura
— WWE Intercontinental Championship (UNCONFIRMED)
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Finn Balor on Smackdown this week. I am wondering if this match could be a late addition to the Extreme Rules PPV.
If it does happen, I am going with a screwy finish. Something that keeps Balor as Champion but keeps this feud going into Summerslam.
We will have to wait and see on this one.
Winner Prediction: Balor via disqualification.
5) Ricochet vs AJ Styles
— WWE United States Championship (CONFIRMED)
WWE has officially confirmed a match between Ricochet and AJ Styles at Extreme Rules. This will be for Ricochet’s United States Championship.
I am definitely excited for the rematch. Their matches on RAW have been good so far and I am looking forward to seeing what they can do if given enough time on PPV.
I am going with Styles winning the Title here. I am hoping for a big push for The Club and this could be the start of it.
Winner Prediction: Styles
4) Bayley vs Alexa Bliss And Nikki Cross
— Handicap Match For The Smackdown Women’s Championship (CONFIRMED)
WWE has confirmed the Smackdown Women’s Championship match at Extreme Rules. It will be Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss vs Bayley.
I think that we are going to see Sasha Banks make her return here. Nikki Cross teased on RAW that Bayley should “find a friend”, which felt like a giant hint to me for Sasha’s return.
Sasha will even the odds, which will allow Bayley to retain her Title. I would also love to see Sasha turn on Bayley after the match, leading towards a match between them at Summerslam.
Winner Prediction: Bayley.
