2) Ronda Rousey Getting Involved
Ronda Rousey is currently serving a 30-day suspension from Monday Night RAW. This comes after she attacked Alexa Bliss and Kurt Angle on the RAW after Money in the Bank.
Rousey is expected to get involved in the Raw Women’s title match at Extreme Rules. Alexa will be facing Nia Jax at the event. This makes sense considering Ronda teased that she will be sitting at ringside for the match.
This would presumably set up either Ronda vs Alexa or Ronda vs Nia vs Alexa for Summerslam. That seems to be the direction that we are heading anyways.
1) The Miz’s Status For The Event
A rumor was floating around that suggested the Miz could end up costing Daniel Bryan his chance at the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. This would have set up Daniel Bryan vs the Miz at Summerslam. That doesn’t look like it will be the case though on Sunday night.
The Miz is actually going to be busy on the day of Extreme Rules. He will be filming the MLB Celebrity All-Star Softball Game on Sunday afternoon in Washington.
Looks like we can count him out for the event.
