6 WWE Stars Who Could Be Selected 1st Overall In The 2019 WWE Draft

4) Roman Reigns

I have to include Roman Reigns on the list of top candidates who could go first overall in the WWE Draft.

Roman has been pushed as WWE’s top guy for several years now. I don’t think it would be a stretch for either RAW or Smackdown to want to build their brands around him. He will provide either brand with star power and is someone who they could build their main storylines around.

Roman went 6th overall in the 2016 WWE Draft and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him move up a few spots this year. I think that he will easily go in the top five of this Draft and we could even see him go at number one.

3) Becky Lynch

I can’t have this list without mentioning Becky Lynch. She is a top candidate in my eyes to get selected first overall in the 2019 WWE Draft.

Not many people in WWE have had a better year than Becky. She caught fire last year and ended up main eventing Wrestlemania 35. Not only that, she walked out of the event as both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Champion.

If WWE wants to have a female go first overall in the Draft this year, Becky would be the top choice. She is someone who either brand could build their Women’s division around.

This would be a major jump from the 2016 WWE Draft, where Becky was selected 14th overall. If she doesn’t go number one, I could easily see her taken in the top five.
