WWE Best Of The Decade Awards (2010-2019): Our Winners

5) Best WWE Heel Turn Of The Decade Award

— Our Winner: The Shield Implodes (RAW: June 2, 2014)

There has been some great heel turns over the past decade in WWE. My favorite has to be Seth Rollins turning on The Shield back in 2014.

The Shield was dominating WWE as a faction during this time. In a surprising moment, Seth Rollins attacked both Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose with chairs. The consensus at this time was that Ambrose would be the one to eventually turn on the group. I was definitely surprised that it ended up being Rollins instead.

This was a great heel turn and it is my pick for the best of the decade. I didn’t include NXT in these awards but if I did, Tommaso Ciampa turning on Johnny Gargano would be another top candidate. That was another amazing turn.

4) Best WWE Storyline Of The Decade Award

— Our Winner: Daniel Bryan’s Road To Wrestlemania 30 (2013-2014)

My favorite WWE storyline of the decade has to be Daniel Bryan vs The Authority. Daniel Bryan was being held down by WWE but he and the fans wouldn’t let it happen. The “Yes Movement” took off and launched Bryan to the moon.

The big moment was Daniel defeating Batista and Randy Orton in the main event of Wrestlemania 30. This was an amazing moment for Bryan after being held down for so long in WWE. Bryan winning that match will surely go down as one of the best moments of the decade.

We also can’t forget that Bryan put on an incredible match that same night against Triple H. It just goes to show you the talent of Bryan, who was able to put on two incredible matches on the biggest night of the year.

There were a lot of good (and bad) storylines in WWE this past decade. Bryan’s road to Wrestlemania 30 sticks out to me as the very best though.

3) Best WWE Match Of The Decade Award

— Our Winner: CM Punk vs John Cena (Money in the Bank 2011)

There have been plenty of great matches in WWE over the past 10 years. My pick for the best WWE match of the decade is CM Punk vs John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011.

The crowd in Chicago was electric for this match. Cena and Punk both did an amazing job at working the crowd and they put on an absolute classic. Punk went on to win the WWE Title in an incredible moment.

I absolutely love this match and it wins the award. You could probably list 10 other classics but this is my personal choice for the match of the decade.
