WWE Confirms A Big Change Made To Championship Matches Moving Forward

On this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Shane McMahon told AOP that they would not be getting their automatic rematch for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

Instead, AOP faced the Revival, the B Team and Lucha House Party in a number one contenders match.

This caused a lot of speculation that WWE is getting rid of automatic rematches for Champions after they lose their belts.

It looks like that decision has been confirmed. WWE has a poll on their website asking:

“What do you think of the decision to remove automatic championship rematches?”

Looks like the decision is final. An interesting change moving forward that will keep things fresh.
