Shinsuke Nakamura vs the Miz has been officially confirmed for Clash of Champions. This will be for the Intercontinental Championship.
This seems like it could be a solid match (and feud) for the Intercontinental Championship. It is about time that Nakamura got some consistent television time.
I am going with Nakamura retaining the title. I am digging this new pairing between Nakamura and Sami Zayn and I am excited to see where it leads to. The Miz will also likely be taking some time off soon due to the birth of his child, so him winning the belt doesn’t make sense. My guess is that Zayn helps Nakamura retain the belt here.
Winner Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura.
7) Seth Rollins And Braun Strowman vs Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler
— RAW Tag Team Championships (Confirmed)
WWE has officially confirmed the RAW tag team title match for Clash of Champions. It will be Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins vs Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler.
This will be the first match of the night for Rollins and Strowman. They will also be facing off for the Universal Title later on in the show. The big question will be, how will Strowman and Rollins get along during this match?
My guess is that Braun turns on Seth, leading to Roode and Ziggler winning the belts. For extra heat, I could also see Braun attacking Seth after the match.
Winner Prediction: Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler.
6) Roman Reigns vs Erick Rowan
— No Disqualification Match (Confirmed)
WWE has confirmed a match involving Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions. Roman won’t be facing Daniel Bryan as many fans expected, he will be facing off against Erick Rowan.
It looks like WWE is saving Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns for Hell in a Cell, which would make sense. I am glad that they aren’t rushing into that singles match.
There is no doubt in my mind that Roman is going to win this match. It should be a pretty solid match though.
Winner Prediction: Roman Reigns
