WWE Clash Of Champions 2017 Predictions

The 2017 edition of Clash of Champions is almost here. The event will be headlined by the WWE Championship match between Jinder Mahal and AJ Styles. The event will have all of Smackdown’s Titles on the line as part of the ‘Clash of Champions’ name. This page will be use for our WWE Clash of Champions 2017 predictions. We pick who we think will win and why.

Mojo Rawley vs Zack Ryder (Kickoff)

I think that WWE is high on Mojo and will push him now that he is a singles star. Expect him to get the win here.

Prediction: Mojo wins.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs Breezango

I am a big fan of Breezango, but I don’t see them winning here. I expect a dominating performance from Harper & Rowan.

Prediction: Bludgeon Brothers win

AJ Styles vs Jinder Mahal – WWE Championship

I think that the Jinder experiment is over. AJ Styles retains here and moves on to something new. Jinder falls down the card.

Prediction: AJ retains.

Charlotte Flair vs Natalya – Smackdown Women’s Championship (Lumberjack Match)

I think that Charlotte will be defeating Natalya here to end the feud. I also think that Carmella will cash-in at the end of the match after Charlotte is beaten down by the Riott Squad. Carmella will already be at ringside because of the lumberjack stipulation, so it makes sense here in my mind.

Prediction: Charlotte retains but gets cashed in on and loses the title to Carmella.

The Usos vs The New Day vs Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin vs Rusev & Aiden English – Smackdown Tag Team Titles

A pretty tough one to predict as I could see any of these 4 teams walking out with the belts. I am going to go off the board here and pick Rusev & English. It seems like ‘Rusev Day’ is really getting over with the fans and this could be a fun title reign.

Prediction: Rusev & English win!

Baron Corbin vs Bobby Roode vs Dolph Ziggler – U.S Title

I think that the only reason Ziggler is in the match is to take the pin. Now the question is, who will win, Corbin or Roode? I am going to go with Baron Corbin retaining here. We predict that the feud between him and Roode will continue though, into the Royal Rumble. I think Roode will eventually win the title, just not yet.

Prediction: Corbin retains

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs Shinsuke Nakamura & Randy Orton – (Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan are special guest referees. If Owens & Zayn lose, they are fired). 

With Daniel in the picture, I think that this means Sami & Kevin are going to win and keep their jobs. I really can’t see Sami & Kevin getting written off TV right now. If I had to guess, Shane gets knocked out during the match inadvertently. Daniel counts the pin for the Sami & Kevin victory. This leads to more tension between Shane & Daniel over the next few weeks. I really don’t think we will be seeing a Daniel Bryan heel turn.

Prediction: Owens & Zayn win.
