We have some news to pass your way about WWE bringing in some former Superstars for Wrestlemania 36. We have marked this as a potential spoiler, so make sure that you are aware.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider first reported that WWE will be bringing in JBL, Darren Young, Hornswoggle and Santino Marella for Wrestlemania 36 weekend. They will be used in various roles.
Johnson now reports that WWE is bringing in Cameron and Brodus Clay for Wrestlemania 36 weekend:
As PWInsider.com reported yesterday in the Elite section, WWE is beginning to reach out to former WWE stars about coming in for Wrestlemania 36 weekend to make appearances.
Beyond the four names we reported yesterday, PWInsider.com can exclusively also confirm that WWE has booked Brodus Clay and Ariane “Cameron” Andrew for the weekend, setting the stage for a potential reunion with current Smackdown star Naomi, who was paired with Andrew as the The Funkadactyls tag team while also linked with Clay during his time in WWE.
JBL is rumored for the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class, so we know why he is likely being brought in. We will let you know if we hear anything more on the other names.
