Battleground featured a rematch fromSmackdown Live this week. Sami Zayn faced off against Mike Kanellis. Kanellis won on Thursday night after a distraction from Maria and a rematch was automatically announced.
Sami was able to win the rematch, hitting Mike with the ‘Helluva Kick’ for the 1-2-3.

The main event of the night was the Punjabi Prison match. Jinder Mahal defended his WWE Championship against Randy Orton. It appears as if fans in attendance had a tough time watching the main event:
