WWE 2K21 Has Reportedly Been Canceled, Update On The Plans For Future WWE Games

WWE 2K20 came out several months ago and the game was not very well-received. The game received a lot of bad reviews, which includes a 2/10 rating on Gamespot.

According to a new report, the WWE 2K21 video game has now been canceled.

The news of WWE 2K21 getting canceled comes from Justin Leeper, who is a former writer of the ‘Road To WrestleMania’ modes in previous WWE video games. Leeper says that he has heard from reliable sources that the game has been canceled this year and that is why there was no announcement made on Wrestlemania 36 weekend.

It was also noted that a new WWE video game is being planned for a release later this year. Leeper says that this will be a “different kind” of WWE video game. It will be from a different developer and not Visual Concepts (who develop the 2K games).

There is no word yet on any details about that upcoming game but Leeper expects WWE to make an announcement in the near future.

We will let you know when we hear anything more. Let me know what you think the next WWE video game will be in the comments!
