WWE 2k17 Goldberg Trailer: Teases HUGE Match

Here is the WWE 2k17 Goldberg trailer that first aired on RAW.(Link if not working on mobile). Did you catch the WWE’s tease?

If you watched the new WWE 2k17 Goldberg trailer, you might not have caught the WWE teasing a possible match. While Goldberg is in the police car, he drives by a sign that most fans will recognize; “Suplex City”. You can only see it for a split second and it was very easy to miss. Here was the best photo we could get:

Are the WWE subtly hinting at another Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar match?? Will Goldberg return to a WWE ring and take a trip to Suplex City??? The two faced off before at WrestleMania 20 with Stone Cold Steve Austin as special guest referee. The match wasn’t looked at favorably because both guys were on their way out of the WWE at the time.

The WWE could be teasing a Goldberg specific showcase mode with Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg happening in the virtual world…. Or this could be setting up a potential Summerslam or WrestleMania re-match between the two. Goldberg has recently appeared at Legends Of Wrestling events in both 2015 and 2016 so he is still active. It should be noted that the WWE has previously put Sting in the 2k game prior to him debuting on WWE TV so this could be the case with Goldberg here?

  1. Im sure this match will draw a nice crowd. I watched Goldberg when he was on an undefeated streak in WcW. I wasnt watching wrestling when he was in WWE. Great opponent for Brock Lesnar in todays WWE.

  2. Well their Wrestlemania match was a bust. Maybe now since the 2 are older they are more wise in the ring and could put on a good match. I’m taking this as a perspective from HBK v Undertaker at Wrestlemania 26. They were in their 40s and they knew wrestling better than anyone and they put on a classic match.
