WWE Jobbers Who Went On To Become Big Stars

8) Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder has been with the WWE for over a decade. He has achieved some success but it all began as an enhancement talent. A young Zack Ryder appeared on Smackdown in 2005 at the age of only 20.  He lost a squash match to Matt Morgan in quick fashion:

I guess WWE liked what they saw from him as he eventually signed a developmental deal with the company. He worked his way up from developmental and has been featured on the WWE main roster ever since.

Ryder is a former WWE Intercontinental, United States, and Tag Team Champion. Let’s not forget that he is also the first and only WWE INTERNET Champion.

7) X-Pac

Before X-Pac was a member of the KLIQ or even known as the 1-2-3 Kid, he was a jobber for the World Wrestling Federation. In 1993, he made his debut as ‘the Kamikaze Kid’ in a losing effort to Doink The Clown on RAW:

He jobbed several more times on television over the next few months. He wrestled as ‘the Canonball Kid’ and simply as: ‘The Kid’. Eventually, he got a big push when he defeated Razor Ramon in a massive upset on RAW. He went on to become the 1-2-3 Kid following that match and had a successful career in the WWE and WCW.

X-Pac is a former Cruiserweight, Light Heavyweight, European and tag team champion with the company. He is also well-known as a member of the Kliq alongside Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
