4) Stephanie McMahon Kicked Off The Show With A Message To Fans
The main card of Wrestlemania 36 kicked off with Stephanie McMahon. She spoke about the event not taking place in a big stadium due to the “current circumstances” (WWE refuses to say coronavirus on television for some reason).
Stephanie spoke about WWE wanting to entertain fans during these tough times. This was definitely the most unique opening to Wrestlemania that I can remember.
5) The Intro Videos Were Really Dope
WWE did something unique to kick off Wrestlemania 36. They compiled all of the past ‘America The Beautiful’ performances into one. This included names like John Legend, Aretha Franklin and more. I thought that this was a really cool way to do it.
WWE also had a really wild intro video to hype up the PPV. This was another thing that was well done by WWE. Their video team always seems to kill it.
6) The Women’s Tag Team Title Match Featured A Weird Edit
The show opened with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match: Asuka and Kairi Sane vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.
This match ended up featuring a weird edit. WWE edited in Kairi Sane breaking up a pin but this was an obvious edit and didn’t look great:
