Now we get to a couple of matches involving Kurt Angle’s son: Jason Jordan. We have to think that with WWE setting this storyline into motion, they had to have some long-term plans. If WWE does go this route, here are some possible Angle and Jordan matches.

3) Kurt Angle vs Jason Jordan

Let’s start with the obvious choice. Kurt Angle faces off against his son at Wrestlemania 34. This would of course come after Jordan turns heel and attacks his father.

The storyline hasn’t exactly been a success. Fans have been critical of the storyline so far. The association with Angle hasn’t launched Jordan into the stratosphere like WWE probably hoped.

While saying that, there is still time. They could still salvage the storyline before Wrestlemania 34. Maybe a heel turn that could lead to Angle vs Jordan on the big stage. Jordan is talented inside of the ring so the match itself has potential. The issue for WWE will be building a believable storyline that fans buy into. Fans are still not seeing the charisma of Jordan. Maybe a heel turn can bring it out of him.

This is probably my least favorite choice of all the potential matches for Angle based on the current storyline (nothing against Jordan). Still, it has the chance to be decent if WWE can figure it out.

4) Kurt Angle & Jason Jordan vs Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable

While saying that I am not a big fan of Angle vs Jordan, I would love for them to team together at Wrestlemania 34. I suggest a fun tag team match between father and son against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin.

There is a TON of history between all four men. Angle and Benjamin used to be together as part of Team Angle. Gable and Jordan used to be tag team partners together before they split. Also, a lot of fans say that Gable reminds them of a young Angle based on their Olympic pedigrees, which is another added element.

Seeds might have been planted when Smackdown invaded RAW in October of 2017. Gable attacked Jordan, which goes to show you how he views his old tag team partner.

The storyline to build to this match could be a lot of fun based on the history that they all have with one another. It also gives Gable and Jordan a chance to be on the Wrestlemania card in a big match where they don’t have to do it alone.

This is my personal favorite choice of the matches that I am listing. Just seems like an awesome opportunity for WWE.
