25 Things That We Learned From Wrestlemania 33

9) New United States Champion!

Chris Jericho defended the WWE United States Championship against his former ‘Best Friend’ Kevin Owens. The storyline has been building for the past year, with their friendship and eventual break-up being a big part of RAW in 2016 and 2017. Both guys put on a good match against one another. We saw a number of great moments including Y2J kicking out of the pop-up powerbomb. Owens would eventually win the match after hitting a powerbomb onto the ring apron.

Congratulations to KO and a great match from both.

10) Charlotte Is An INCREDIBLE Athlete

Bayley defended her RAW Women’s Championship against Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair in the third match of the night. Nia Jax was eliminated early from the match after all three women teamed up against her, turning this into a triple threat.

Last year, Charlotte hit a moonsault to the outside against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. This year, she turned it up a notch, hitting a corkscrew moonsault:

Charlotte is one of the most impressive athletes in the company. Can’t wait to see her keep improving.
