3) Ronda Rousey
I can’t have this list without mentioning Ronda Rousey. I think that most fans will agree that Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch is still a money match that we all want to see.
Ronda has been out of action since Wrestlemania 35. She has been outspoken about her desire to start a family, which is the reason for her WWE absence. While saying that, there has been no news that Ronda is pregnant, which keeps the hope alive for Ronda vs Becky at Wrestlemania 36.
I could see Ronda making a surprise return during the Royal Rumble match. She would be a great choice for the #30 entrant in the match as a big surprise. She would then proceed to win and would call out Becky for a singles match at Wrestlemania for the RAW Women’s Championship.
Ronda is my personal choice to win the Rumble. Until there is news of her coming back though, we can’t put her at the top of this list.
2) Sasha Banks
Another option for the Women’s Royal Rumble winner in 2020 is the ‘Legit Boss’, Sasha Banks.
Many fans are predicting that Sasha could face off against Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 36. Looking at the current Smackdown Women’s division, Bayley vs Sasha is the biggest and best match that they could book (in my opinion). Sasha winning the Royal Rumble match could set that into motion.
I would prefer to see WWE build that feud by having one of them turn on the other. Still, a Royal Rumble win from Sasha could lead to jealousy from Bayley. That could lead to Bayley taking out Sasha.
Either way, I wouldn’t count out Sasha as the potential winner. It would be an easy way for them to set up Sasha vs Bayley at Wrestlemania 36.
