What Vince McMahon Reportedly Said In The Production Meeting Before RAW In Boston

Monday Night RAW this week took place in Boston. In an interesting turn of events, WWE didn’t mention Brock Lesnar and his UFC appearance from over the weekend. Brock made headlines when he cut a promo and pushed Daniel Cormier at the event. Many thought that WWE would try to capitalize on Brock and the mainstream attention he was getting.

A new report shares some insight into what Vince McMahon said in the production meeting before RAW.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), the idea to not mention Brock or the UFC angle on Saturday came directly from Vince himself.

Vince told everybody in the production meeting at RAW to focus completely on the build to Extreme Rules and nothing else.

Vince added that they will start talking about Brock “when he’s being offered to our audience and we can capitalize on it.”

Meltzer adds that Vince is also still looking to push the narrative that Brock walked out on WWE for the UFC as a way to get fans against him.

Speaking of Extreme Rules, here are 8 surprises that could happen.
