Many fans have heard the stories about Vince McMahon being a workaholic. Vince himself has said in past interviews that he only sleeps a few hours a night. It is known that the WWE to Vince is a 24 hours a-day, 7 days a-week job.
That is why it is noteworthy anytime that he misses a show, which apparently happened this past weekend.
It is being reported by MLW Radio With Court Bauer and MSL, that Vince McMahon was not at the Payback Pay-Per-View in San Jose on Sunday.
They didn’t know the official reason as to why he was absent, other than they had confirmed that he wasn’t in attendance for the show. They speculated that it could be because of Vince’s dislike of travelling to the West Coast.
Regardless of the reason, it is always noteworthy when Vince misses something, especially a Pay-Per-View. Vince is 71 years old and it is understandable that he would want to slow down a bit.
Now is the time in the article where we have to joke that Payback had such a lack of hype heading into the event that even Vince himself felt like he could skip it….

Any coincidence that we get a solid PPV and Vince is nowhere to be seen?
PPV was really good. Vince not being there micro-managing everything probably helped.
