WWE announced that next week’s episode of RAW will include a retirement ceremony for Rey Mysterio. This comes after Rey was viciously assaulted by Seth Rollins a few weeks ago.

WWE has now confirmed that Seth Rollins will be the host of this retirement segment. Here is what WWE posted:

This tells us that the retirement from Rey is very likely a storyline and not actually happening.
