There have been rumors over the past 24 hours that suggested Ronda Rousey could be finished with WWE as a full-time performer after Wrestlemania 35. This is due to Ronda’s desire to start a family with her husband, Travis Browne.
TMZ Sports picked up on these rumors and ended up revealing some additional information on Ronda and her contract with WWE.
Here is a statement from a WWE spokesperson about when Ronda’s contract expires:
“Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until April 10, 2021. Whether she wants to start a family is a private matter.”
There you have it, even if Ronda does leave after Wrestlemania 35, this doesn’t close the book on her career with WWE.
My Take: My guess is that WWE will convince her to stay for a few more months after Wrestlemania in order to do the Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen match. After taking significant time off to have a baby, I could see her coming back for a match here and there.
