You have likely heard the rumors by now that there could be a new promotion coming soon involving Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks and more. Naturally, fans started to talk about which underused WWE stars should make the jump.
Two names that were coming up a lot in these discussions were Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. They are two names with ties to the Young Bucks. They have also been rarely used on Smackdown over the past several months.
We have an update to pass your way on the contract status of Gallows and Anderson.
According to Mike Johnson on PWInsider Elite audio, Gallows and Anderson’s contracts with WWE don’t expire until the fall of 2019:
“There’s a lot of talk about Gallows and Anderson. There’s been some speculation on them but I’m told their deals aren’t up until the Fall of 2019.
That won’t put the rumors to end as they could always leave near the end of 2019. Still, this tells us that it isn’t something to worry about for a few more months down the road.
AJ Styles is reportedly in the middle of re-negotiating with WWE. It is also possible that Anderson and Gallows could be doing the same to try and get better deals for themselves.
We will let you know if we hear anything more about the contracts of Anderson and Gallows over the next several months. For now, they aren’t going anywhere.
