Update On Brock Lesnar’s Status For Money In The Bank

It appears as if Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will be facing off again in the future for the Universal Championship. This comes after the controversial ending at the Greatest Royal Rumble event. The referee admitted to making a mistake and that Reigns should have been declared the victor.

So when will this rematch take place?

The popular speculation from fans was that it would take place at Money in the Bank next month. That doesn’t look like it is going to be the case though.

Brock is not currently being advertised by WWE to appear at the event. To go along with that, Dave Meltzer reported on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Brock isn’t expected to work the event and it is unclear when his next Title defense will be.

Based on what happened on RAW, it looks like Roman Reigns will be feuding with Jinder Mahal. Maybe that leads to a match at Money in the Bank? In this case, WWE would probably save Roman vs Brock for Summerslam, but that is only speculation right now.

How do you feel about Brock not working the event?
