Since losing the Smackdown Women’s Championship, fans have been confused as to which brand that Becky Lynch actually belongs to. Becky wasn’t announced as a ‘wildcard’ when she appeared on Smackdown this week. WWE’s website also still had her listed as a member of the Smackdown roster.
Becky still being on the Smackdown roster was a bit confusing for fans, considering that she is the current RAW Women’s Champion. That means technically she is a ‘wildcard’ on the brand that she holds the belt for.
It appears as if WWE has now cleared up Becky’s future.
WWE’s website has now officially moved her to the RAW roster over the past few days. Here is a screenshot:
My Take: The RAW Women’s division needs her so this is the right call. She will still be able to make some appearances on Smackdown due to the ‘wildcard’ rule but she is definitely needed to help anchor that RAW Women’s division.
